This page is a public summary. A collection notice, quotation, order, statement of work or service agreement may provide additional detail for a particular interaction.

01

Acceptance and scope

These Website Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply when you access or use micisgroup.com.au and its public content, forms and links (the “Website”). By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.

“MiCiS”, “MiCiS Group”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the MiCiS Group entity responsible for the relevant interaction or service. The group currently includes MiCiS Consulting Pty Ltd (ABN 28 141 219 767), MiCiS Information Systems Pty Ltd (ABN 37 166 269 021) and MiCiSTel Pty Ltd (ABN 17 166 228 431), together with any other entity using the MiCiS Group name that is identified in the relevant commercial document.

These Terms govern the public Website only. They do not replace a quotation, order, client agreement, statement of work, service schedule, carrier agreement, procurement-portal terms or other contract.

02

Website information, services, quotes and orders

General information

Website content is provided for general information and to help visitors identify a possible starting point. It is not legal, financial, compliance, safety, engineering, telecommunications, cybersecurity or other professional advice, and it is not a complete technical assessment of your environment.

Technology outcomes depend on information, systems, providers, licences, contracts, site conditions, access, risk, product availability and other circumstances that are confirmed during discovery and scoping. Do not make a material operational, safety, security or purchasing decision solely from general Website content.

Quotes and service scope

A Website page, form submission, conversation, estimate, product description, case study or resource does not by itself create a service agreement, support obligation, emergency-response commitment or guaranteed outcome. Scope, responsibilities, exclusions, pricing, taxes, lead times, products, acceptance criteria and support arrangements are established in the applicable quotation, order or agreement.

Procurement and transactions

Products, pricing, availability, orders, delivery, returns and account access through the MiCiS procurement portal are subject to the terms displayed on that portal and any accepted quote or account arrangement. If those terms conflict with these Website Terms for a transaction, the transaction-specific terms prevail.

Existing client support

Do not use a general Website enquiry to bypass an active support, security, privacy or emergency process already agreed for your organisation. Use the Client Support route and telephone contact specified for the service.

03

Regulated, licensed and third-party services

References to telecommunications carrier capability, security licensing, cabling, electrical work, monitoring, response, building access, infrastructure deployment or other regulated activities are general descriptions. The responsible entity, licence or registration, personnel, subcontractors, consents, approvals, scope and conditions are confirmed for each engagement.

Nothing on the Website authorises access to property, networks, systems, records or facilities, and nothing guarantees approval by a regulator, carrier, landlord, network owner, vendor or other third party.

Third-party products and services are subject to their own terms, licensing, support policies, availability and technical constraints. Product names and marks belong to their respective owners.

04

Acceptable use

You must use the Website lawfully and in a way that does not harm MiCiS, another person, the Website or any connected system. You must not:

  • attempt unauthorised access, vulnerability testing, scanning, interception or circumvention of security controls;
  • introduce malware, malicious code, automated abuse, excessive traffic or other interference;
  • use the Website to impersonate another person, misrepresent authority or submit false or misleading information;
  • collect, scrape, reproduce or republish Website content at scale without permission;
  • infringe intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality or other rights;
  • submit unlawful, defamatory, harmful or unsolicited commercial material; or
  • use the Website in connection with an unlawful or unauthorised activity.

We may restrict or block access where reasonably necessary to protect the Website, users, systems or legal rights.

05

Information and material you submit

You are responsible for ensuring that information you submit is accurate, lawful and provided with appropriate authority. Do not submit passwords, private keys, recovery codes, protected records or unnecessary personal, contractual or security-sensitive information through a general Website form.

You grant MiCiS permission to use, copy, store and disclose submitted material to the extent reasonably necessary to respond to the enquiry, assess the request, maintain records and perform an authorised service. Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy.

If you submit another person’s information, you must have authority to do so and, where required, make them aware of the relevant collection notice or privacy policy.

06

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the Website, design, copy, diagrams, graphics, code, documents, trade marks, logos and other content are owned by or licensed to MiCiS and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view, print or save a reasonable portion of public Website content for your own internal evaluation or other use permitted by law. You must not reproduce, modify, sell, license, publish, frame, remove notices from or create derivative commercial material from the Website without written permission.

Permission to use a client name, case study, testimonial, logo, photograph or other third-party material remains subject to the rights and approvals applicable to that material.

07

Third-party links, portals and embedded services

The Website may link to client support systems, procurement portals, mapping services, vendors, carriers, manufacturers, regulators, social platforms or other third-party sites. Those services are controlled by their operators and may have separate terms, privacy policies and security practices.

A link does not necessarily mean MiCiS endorses every statement, product or practice on the linked site. You should review the applicable third-party terms before using the service or providing information.

You may link to a public Website page in a fair and lawful way that does not imply sponsorship, partnership or endorsement. Do not frame the Website or use MiCiS branding without permission.

08

Availability, security and changes to the Website

We take reasonable steps to operate and protect the Website, but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device, free of malicious activity or available at a particular time. Maintenance, provider outages, security controls and events outside our reasonable control may affect availability.

We may change, suspend or remove Website content or functionality without notice. Historical content may not reflect current products, providers, licences, services, pricing, legal requirements or technical conditions.

If you believe you have found a security issue, contact MiCiS privately and do not test, exploit, publish or access information beyond what is necessary to report the issue.

09

Consumer rights, disclaimers and liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a guarantee, right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including rights that may apply under the Australian Consumer Law.

Subject to those non-excludable rights, the Website and its general content are provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MiCiS does not give an additional warranty that Website content is complete, current, suitable for a particular purpose or a substitute for assessment of your circumstances.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MiCiS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising solely from use of, reliance on or inability to access the public Website. Liability arising from a product, service, project or managed-service engagement is governed by the applicable contract and law.

10

Privacy, changes, governing law and contact

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through the Website and relevant MiCiS interactions.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the Website, services, providers or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will be published on this page. Continued use after an update means the revised Terms apply to subsequent Website use.

Severability and no waiver

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it is read down or severed to the extent necessary without affecting the remaining provisions. A delay in exercising a right is not a waiver.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Subject to any non-excludable right to bring proceedings elsewhere, the courts of New South Wales have jurisdiction.
